Virtual Fragments

Acrylic transfer and wire, objects of various sizes, 2019

The “Virtual Fragments” series includes wire objects covered with a thin acrylic skin. This transparent layer is covered with drawings, text fragments, collaged found internet images and protocols of digital work.

The images fold into space and become three-dimensional spaces for thought. If one understands the white wall as a stage, they could be understood as interacting actors, which, depending on the composition, enable different readings. What they have in common with our everyday life is the constant overlaying of virtual content with physical presence and the conflict in material resistance.
