Chronos & Kairos

In Greek mythology Chronos and Kairos represented two different aspects of time. While Kairos stood for a sudden rupture, Chronos preserved the order and chronology of history. Based on tensions between these two different modes of perception a process of collaboration between the artist Rolf-Maria Krückels and me started, materialising in an exhibition in Kunstbüro reillplast, 2020 in Munich. Rolfs Objects and ink drawings merged with my murals and became one installation encompassing the whole room.
We understood our working together as an experimental communication process in which individual artistic positions developed into something new, telling stories from various perspectives at the same time.
